Stage Two of My Art Dream – Funding Through a Grant – Please Vote

Stage One

In March, I told you about my proposal to receive a Red Rock Outfitters and Hiking Permit so I could take folks to the red rocks to make some art for personal growth. Great news! I got it!

I was one of 18 who was approved out of 40 applicants. The Red Rock Ranger District's goal is to distribute our permits January 1, 2016.

So... that gives me plenty of time to plan and strategize best ways to implement and manifest this dream.

Stage Two

Now in Stage Two, I have taken another step that will help me move forward toward my dream goal, expanding my art reach and taking folks to the red rocks.

I have applied for a grant through the Chase Mission MainStreet program. If I receive this grant, the money will afford me to take this dream to a higher level. I will be able to buy all the art supplies, easels, and other things I might need to provide a first-class service to my clients.

I also want to expand my art reach for my own art making activities. There will be money for that too. My inner artist is welling up with ideas for new paintings. With this money, I will be able to procure a larger studio space and art supplies like paints, gel mediums, and painting surfaces. I would also like to take some art classes to further expand my art knowledge.
