It's Done!

Finally… my phone art flower painting (now called "Blooming") is complete. Almost. I will need to add a clear coat and a couple of coats of varnish. Then, it will be finished and ready to move into a new home. Maybe yours?

In this final stage, there were only a few things left to do: connect the two purple rectangles top center forming one large rectangle, change some of the green color in places, and add some green to the flowers in their centers and on the petals.

It came into its own during the painting process, breaking away from its origins as a digital work on my phone app.

Below are the different stages this painting went through.

Please feel free to comment on the final stage, the process of how it went through the various stages, or anything else that comes to your mind to share.

Thank you for visiting and looking at my art. This painting is for sale. Contact me with your interest.

Here is how the size (36 x 36 inches)
might look in your house. It would also
work well in an office, doctor's office,
children's room, wellness center, or
anywhere that good cheer is desired

Stages

The original digital drawing / painting
created on my phone with an app
called PaintJoy. The painting looks
quite different than the digital version.

  1. I'm glad you included a picture of the art hanging above a sofa so we could get a real feel for the piece! Lovely!

    1. Thank you, Loretta. I'm glad you appreciated the sofa photo… I think it is difficult for most folks to visualize the size of the painting in their home in relation to their furnishings.

    1. Thank you, Marilyn! The phone app is quite fun. I can create quickly on it. Some of them give me good ideas for paintings, like this one. I have several more that will become actual paint on canvas paintings too. It's a new direction… or perhaps simply a new series. I'll see how it unfolds. Thank you for your comment.

    1. Hey, Robin… I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the progress. I'll think about selling the digital original. It is quite small but might figure something out. Thanks!
