I painted a chair as a donation for our local Chair-ity Auction to benefit the historic downtown Silco Theatre. Each year, artists are given black director's chairs to paint or decorate in their unique style. This year, mine is called "Midnight at the Oasis".
Here you will read my art notes where I share latest paintings and musings. I welcome your comments. Published Mondays by 7 pm (Mountain Std Time), typically at 5:30 pm MST. Send Mail

Preparing Painting Panels for Abstract Series
Today, I sanded my two painting boards that finally came together after months of working at getting the materials. Silver City just does not have the goods I need to make these boards. Finally, I found Woodworker's Source in Tucson through a friend. That has solved my needs for now.

New Painting: Golden Boy 50
I've been busy creating and not posting to my blog. Here is my latest painting. It was painted as a gift for a friend who just turned 50. He loves Harley Davidson motorcycles. Recently, he proudly purchased white wall tires for it. I recently house/dog sat for them in Tucson, AZ where they have a wonderful view of the sunset.
