Signing Your Art Matters

In preparation to signing the completed painting, Sir Kitty at Home, I did some research on signing my painting. I usually sign it with my symbol and my first name in the lower right hand corner. Last year, I stopped putting the date on my paintings. Here are some good articles I came across:

After reading these articles, I will continue signing in the same manner as I have been, my symbol, my first name. In addition, I will sign my full name and add the date completed on the back. And maybe add the title, although, sometimes the title changes.
