Encaustic Painting using Acrylics

This is the first enacaustic painting that I have finished using the techniques from a workshop I took a few weeks ago: Encaustic Effects with Acrylic. It was facilitated by Nancy Reyner, author of Acrylic Revolution.

I used a pouring and embedding technique. I'm still experimenting with all of the other pieces we did in the workshop. I think this one is complete and need to sign it.

This is a highly addicting process for me. I have a landscape painting in process and need to get back to that!

I wonder where this process will take me. Visit Nancy's website for more information on her workshops and book: www.nancyreyner.com.
